Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu Line Rapid Service towards Chiba. Get off at Kinshicho Station (about 10 minutes). Transfer to the Hanzomon Line, and take the train towards Oshiage. Get off at Oshiage Station (about 2 minutes). Exit the station and walk towards the Sumida River. Follow the riverbank for about 15 minutes until you reach Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens at 3 Chome-18-3 Higashimukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo 131-0032.

  • Car

    If you are driving from Shinjuku, take the Central Circular Route (C2) towards the Shibuya area. Merge onto the Shinjuku Route (C1) and continue until you reach the exit for Sumida City. Follow signs for Sumida and merge onto Route 6. Continue on Route 6 until you reach Higashimukojima. Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens will be located on your right at 3 Chome-18-3 Higashimukojima. There is parking available nearby.

    From Asakusa Station, take the Tobu Skytree Line and get off at Oshiage Station (about 5 minutes). Transfer to the Hanzomon Line and head towards Shibuya. Get off at Oshiage Station and follow the signs to the Sumida River. Walk along the river for approximately 15 minutes until you arrive at Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens.

    If you are coming from Ueno, take Route 6 towards Sumida. Follow the road signs directing you to Sumida City. Once you reach Higashimukojima, look for Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens at 3 Chome-18-3. There should be street parking available, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
