Getting There

    From Osaka, take the JR Kobe Line from Osaka Station to Sannomiya Station. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sannomiya Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the East Exit. Upon exiting, you will see a large street called 'Higashimon-dori'.

    From the East Exit of Sannomiya Station, walk east along Higashimon-dori for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with 'Kitanozaka'. Turn left onto Kitanozaka Street. You will see signs directing you toward Kitano Tenman Shrine.

  • Walking

    Continue walking up Kitanozaka Street for about 5 minutes. You will start to notice a more residential area with shops and cafes. The shrine is located at the top of the hill, at '3 Chome-12-1 Kitanocho, Chuo Ward, Kobe'. Look for the entrance gate to the shrine on your right.

    Once you arrive at Kitano Tenman Shrine, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and explore the shrine grounds. Remember, the shrine is open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
