If you are traveling by car, start from central Sanuki and head west on Route 11 towards Kurashiki. This journey is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Upon arriving in Kurashiki, follow the signs to the city center. When you reach Funaguracho, look for the Kurashiki Moneybox Museum at 1224 Funaguracho. Parking is available nearby, and it may cost around 500 yen for a few hours.

To reach Kurashiki Moneybox Museum by public transportation, take the JR Yosan Line from Sanuki Station to Okayama Station. The ride takes about 20 minutes. Once at Okayama, transfer to the JR Sanyo Line and take a train towards Kurashiki Station. This leg of the journey will take another 15 minutes. From Kurashiki Station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus to reach the museum. The bus costs around 200 yen and will drop you off near the museum.

If you prefer to take a bus directly from Sanuki to Kurashiki, you can board a highway bus at Sanuki Bus Terminal heading to Kurashiki. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes and the fare is approximately 900 yen. Upon arrival at Kurashiki Bus Terminal, follow the signs to the local bus that takes you to Funaguracho, or opt for a short walk to the museum, which is about 1.5 kilometers from the terminal.
