If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Settsu's main road. You will want to head towards the direction of Kyoto. Use a GPS device or a mapping app and enter '32 Uzumasa Hachiokacho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8162' as your destination. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. There is parking available near Kōryū-ji Temple, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the train from Settsu to Kyoto. Board the JR Tōkaidō Line or the Hankyu Kyoto Line at Settsu Station. Disembark at Uzumasa Station. From Uzumasa Station, you can either walk approximately 15 minutes towards Kōryū-ji Temple or take a local bus (bus number 62) that will drop you off close to the temple. The bus fare is around 210 yen.

If you are arriving at Uzumasa Station and choose to walk, exit the station and head northwest on Uzumasa Hachiokacho. Continue straight until you reach Kōryū-ji Temple, which should be well-signposted along the way. The walk will take about 15 minutes.
