If you're traveling by car from Shirakawa-go to Hida Takayama Craft Experience Center, start by heading southwest on Route 156. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes until you reach Takayama. Once in Takayama, follow the signs to the city center. The center is located at 1 Chome-436 Kamiokamotomachi. Look for parking areas nearby as street parking may be limited. Note that parking fees may apply in certain areas.

To reach Hida Takayama Craft Experience Center using public transportation, first make your way to the Shirakawa-go bus terminal. From there, take the Nohi Bus bound for Takayama Station. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Takayama Station, you can either walk or take a local bus to the center.
