Public Bus
From the Dead Sea, take a public bus to Jerusalem. Buses frequently depart from various points along the Dead Sea, such as the hotels and tourist areas. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most accurate times. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Jerusalem, you can proceed to the next step.
Light Rail
After arriving at the Jerusalem bus station, you can take the light rail from the nearby station. Board the light rail and head towards the 'City Center' direction. Get off at the 'Jaffa Center' station. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Model of Jerusalem in the 2nd Temple Period. The museum is located in the Israel Museum area, which is a short distance from the light rail stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Jaffa Center stop, exit the light rail and head southwest on Jaffa Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout; take the first exit onto Derech Ruppin. Follow the signs towards the Israel Museum. The Model of Jerusalem is situated within the museum complex. The walk is approximately 20-25 minutes and offers a pleasant view of the city.
