  • Car

    From the main entrance of Hell's Gate National Park, head south on the main road for about 8 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Naivasha. After Naivasha, continue driving towards Mirera. As you approach Mirera, you will see signs directing you to the Rift Valley viewpoint. Follow these signs to reach the viewpoint where you can enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. Make sure to have your camera ready!

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Rift Valley from Hell's Gate National Park using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from the park entrance to Naivasha town. The fare is usually around 50 KES. Once in Naivasha, look for a matatu heading towards Mirera. The fare for this second leg is about 30 KES. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Rift Valley viewpoint; they are familiar with the location. Be prepared for a short walk from the drop-off point to the viewpoint.
