Getting There

Car

To reach Amboseli National Park from Chyulu Hills National Park by car, start by driving westward on the C97 road. Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A104 highway. Turn left onto the A104 highway, which will take you towards Amboseli. Follow the A104 for approximately 30 kilometers until you see signs directing you towards Amboseli National Park. The entrance is located on your right. Make sure to check for park fees, which are around Ksh 1,500 for non-residents and Ksh 300 for residents.
Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Chyulu Hills to the town of Emali. First, find a matatu heading to Emali; these can be found at various points around Chyulu Hills. The trip to Emali will cost approximately Ksh 200 and take around 1 hour. Once in Emali, look for a matatu heading to Amboseli; the fare for this leg is about Ksh 300, and travel time is around 1 hour. Be sure to confirm the matatu's destination before boarding. Upon arrival, you may need to pay park entrance fees to enter Amboseli National Park.
