Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Koura, head southeast on the main road (Lebanon Route 3) towards the town of Bcharré. After approximately 10 km, look for signs indicating 'Baatara Gorge Waterfall'. Follow the signs to a small parking area near the entrance of the gorge. Parking may be limited, so arrive early. Note that there may be a small fee for parking, usually around 5,000 LBP.

    Take a shared taxi (service) from Koura to Bcharré. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Baatara Gorge Waterfall. The ride should cost around 10,000 LBP per person. After being dropped off, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to the entrance of the gorge. Follow the path that leads downhill towards the waterfall.
