Getting There

• Bus

  From Mellieha, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq Il-Madonna tal-Grazzja. Board the bus number 41 or 42 heading towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and alight at the Ghajnsielem stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the direction of the ferry terminal. Continue along Triq L-Imbarka until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Knisja; turn left and follow the road. After about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at L-Għar ta’ Bla Saqaf/It-Tieqa/Taħt il-Ħnejja.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking from Mellieha, head south on Triq Il-Madonna tal-Grazzja towards Triq Il-Bajja. Continue straight until you reach the coast, then follow the coastline to the east. This scenic route will take approximately 1 hour, but be prepared for some steep areas. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Eventually, you will reach the area of Ghajnsielem, where you can find L-Għar ta’ Bla Saqaf/It-Tieqa/Taħt il-Ħnejja at the coordinates 285H+WQ3.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi service. You can book a taxi via a local taxi app or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Just provide them with the address 285H+WQ3, Ghajnsielem. The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. This is a comfortable option if you want to avoid the hassle of public transport or walking.
