    From Mellieha Bay, head south on Triq Il-Mithna towards Triq Il-Qammieh. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Il-Kanun. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Triq Bieb l-Imdina. Turn right onto Triq Bieb l-Imdina. The Citadel Ruins will be on your left at 9 Triq Bieb l-Imdina, Ir-Rabat Għawdex. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

    To reach the Citadel Ruins from Mellieha Bay using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Triq Il-Qammieh). Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Victoria (Rabat) stop. After disembarking, walk along Triq Bieb l-Imdina for about 10 minutes. The Citadel Ruins will be located at 9 Triq Bieb l-Imdina, Ir-Rabat Għawdex. Please note that a bus ticket costs around €1.50.
