    From Laurel, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Metrobus Route 87, which heads towards the Greenbelt Metro Station. Board the bus and stay on for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Annapolis Mall' stop. From there, transfer to the Annapolis Circulator, which is a free bus service. Take the Circulator towards the 'Historic District' and get off at the Maryland Avenue stop. Walk about 5 minutes down Maryland Avenue, and you will find the Hammond-Harwood House at 19 Maryland Ave.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from any bike-sharing service available in Laurel. Cycle south on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail, which leads you directly towards Annapolis. After about 8 miles of biking, you will reach Annapolis. Once you arrive at the intersection of West Street and Maryland Avenue, turn left onto Maryland Avenue, and the Hammond-Harwood House will be on your right at 19 Maryland Ave.
