Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Annapolis City Dock, head north on Compromise Street towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue straight until you reach Church Circle. At Church Circle, take the first exit onto State Circle. Follow State Circle until you reach the intersection with West Street. Continue on West Street until you reach the intersection with MD-2 N (Governor Ritchie Highway). From here, take a bus or rideshare to the nearest metro station in Washington, DC. Use the metro to reach the 'McPherson Square' station on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines. From McPherson Square, exit the station and walk 3 blocks northeast to reach the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, located at 1725 Rhode Island Ave NW.

• Public Transit

  From the Annapolis City Dock, walk to the nearest bus stop located on West Street at Church Circle. Take the Annapolis Transit Bus Route 70 towards the New Carrollton Metro Station. This bus will take you to the metro station where you can transfer to the Washington Metro system. Once you arrive at the New Carrollton Metro Station, take the Orange Line towards Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. Transfer at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station to the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center. Get off at the McPherson Square Station. From there, walk 3 blocks northeast to the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, located at 1725 Rhode Island Ave NW.
