Public Bus

From any location in Waldorf, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Charles County Transit. Look for Route 1, which heads towards the Branch Avenue Metro Station. Upon exiting the station, walk east on Independence Avenue SW and take a left on First Street SE. The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center will be on your right.

If you are near a Metro station in Waldorf, take the train on the Washington Metro’s Green Line towards Greenbelt. Disembark at the L'Enfant Plaza Station.
