Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Northampton, take US-5 N and then merge onto MA-116 N toward Sunderland. Continue on MA-116 N and then merge onto I-91 N. Take exit 27 for MA-2 E toward Greenfield. Merge onto MA-2 E, then take exit 26 toward Turners Falls. Follow the signs for Turners Falls and drive onto Avenue A. The Great Falls Discovery Center will be on your left at 2 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Great Falls Discovery Center using public transportation, start by taking the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) bus from your location (check the PVTA website for the nearest stop and schedule). You can take route 39 or 40, which will take you to the Turners Falls area. Once you arrive at the Turners Falls stop, walk towards Avenue A. The center is located at 2 Avenue A, just a short walk away from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, biking to the Great Falls Discovery Center is a great option! From Greenfield, you can take the bike path along the Connecticut River. Follow the bike path signs leading to Turners Falls. Once you reach Avenue A, the Great Falls Discovery Center is located at 2 Avenue A. Ensure you have a bike lock to secure your bike while you visit.

• Walking

  If you are already in Turners Falls, walking to the Great Falls Discovery Center is simple. Just head towards Avenue A, and you will find the center located at 2 Avenue A. It is a pleasant walk with some scenic views along the way.
