Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Malecon, head southeast along the waterfront promenade towards the Hotel Zone. Continue walking until you reach Calle Morelos. Turn left onto Calle Morelos and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Abasolo. Turn right onto Calle Abasolo and walk up the hill until you see signs for the Hill of the Cross Viewpoint. The total walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the Malecon, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Mexico. Take bus number 4 or 5 towards Las Juntas. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the stop for 'Cerro'. Once you get off, walk uphill on Calle Abasolo until you reach the Hill of the Cross Viewpoint. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi. Head to the nearest taxi stand or hail a taxi from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Abasolo LB, Cerro'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your trip if it's not a metered taxi.
