If you are driving, start by locating the nearest major highway in Southeast Michigan. From Detroit, take I-75 North towards Flint. Merge onto I-69 North at exit 85. Continue on I-69 until you reach I-75 North again towards Saginaw. Follow I-75 North and then take exit 162B to merge onto US-31 North towards Manistee. Continue on US-31 North until you reach M-72. Take M-72 East towards Kewadin. Follow M-72 and turn right onto Traverse Bay Road. Drive down Traverse Bay Road until you reach the Torch Bay Nature Preserve located between 12674 and 12970 Traverse Bay Rd, Kewadin, MI 49648. Note: Parking is available on-site.
