If you're traveling by car, start on US-61 North from your location in Northwest Missouri. Follow US-61 N until you reach St. Charles. Take the exit toward I-70 E, and merge onto I-70 E. Continue on I-70 E for about 30 miles. Take exit 229 for 5th St. toward St. Charles. Turn left onto 5th St, then right onto S Main St. The First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site will be on your right at 200 S Main St, St Charles, MO 63301. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees during peak tourist times.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Amtrak train to the St. Louis station. From there, board the MetroLink light rail towards the North Hanley station. Transfer to the #63 (Delmar) bus at the North Hanley station. Take the bus towards the St. Charles area and get off at Main St & 2nd St. Walk south on Main St for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site at 200 S Main St. Be sure to check the latest schedules for Amtrak and MetroLink for any changes in service.
