Getting There

Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head south towards the main road that runs through Bhaktapur. As you exit the square, you will see a small sign pointing towards Kathmandu. Walk along the road, passing by local shops and eateries. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the bus stop for local buses heading to Kathmandu. Here, you can catch a 'microbus' or a 'tempu' (shared taxi) heading to Thamel. The fare is quite affordable, usually around 50 NPR. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Thamel Marg.

Public Transport
Once you arrive at the bus stop in Bhaktapur, board a bus or tempu heading directly to Kathmandu. Inform the driver or conductor that you need to go to Thamel. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon reaching Thamel, you can ask the driver to drop you off at Thamel Marg, which is a central location known for its tourist services. From there, look for building signs; Himalayan Partner Treks & Expedition is located on the 3rd floor. You may need to walk a short distance in Thamel, as the area can be busy and bustling with activity.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bhaktapur. Once you have your bike, head south towards the main road that leads to Kathmandu. The route will take you through scenic countryside before arriving in Thamel. The ride should take about 30 to 45 minutes. Upon reaching Thamel, park your bicycle at a designated parking area. Look for Himalayan Partner Treks & Expedition on Thamel Marg, located on the 3rd floor of a nearby building.
