• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Chitwan National Park, set your GPS to 'Bandipur Gate, XC83+W39, Dumre-Bandipur Rd, Bandipur 33914.' Drive towards the Dumre-Bandipur Road, which will take you through picturesque landscapes. The drive is approximately 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and be prepared for winding roads as you approach Bandipur. There may be toll costs depending on your starting point.

• Public Bus

  To reach Bandipur Gate via public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Chitwan National Park. Look for a bus heading to Dumre. Buses typically leave every hour, and the fare is around 200 NPR (Nepalese Rupees). The bus journey will take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at Dumre, you can take a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to reach Bandipur Gate, which is about a 30-minute ride from Dumre. The taxi fare can range from 700 to 1000 NPR.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Chitwan National Park. Follow the same route as the cars, taking Dumre-Bandipur Road. The total journey will take about 3 hours. Rental prices vary but typically start at around 1500 NPR per day. Always wear a helmet and ensure you have a valid license. Fuel costs should also be factored in.
