From Utrecht Central Station, purchase a train ticket to Amersfoort. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amersfoort Station, exit the station and head towards the bus station located directly outside the train station.

At the Amersfoort bus station, take bus number 2 or 3 towards 'Randenbroek'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Heiligenbergerweg' stop. Once you disembark, walk along Heiligenbergerweg for about 5 minutes. The National Gallery of the Netherlands will be on your left at Heiligenbergerweg 171.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Amersfoort Station, exit the station and head east towards the 'Zandfoortseweg'. Turn left onto 'Zandfoortseweg' and continue straight. After about 1.2 kilometers, turn right onto 'Heiligenbergerweg'. Continue walking for another 500 meters, and you will find the National Gallery of the Netherlands at Heiligenbergerweg 171 on your left.
