Car
If you're driving to the Brooklyn Children's Museum from Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, start by heading southwest on McBride Ave toward N 1st St. Continue straight to merge onto I-80 E toward New York City. After about 8 miles, take exit 47B to merge onto I-95 S. Follow signs for George Washington Bridge. Stay on I-95 S for approximately 10 miles. Then, take exit 2 for I-295 S toward Staten Island. Merge onto I-295 S and then take exit 1C toward Bayonne. Continue on local roads to Brooklyn Ave, and the museum will be on your right at 145 Brooklyn Ave.

To reach the Brooklyn Children's Museum from Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park using public transportation, first take the NJ Transit train from Paterson Station to Secaucus Junction. From Secaucus, transfer to a train heading to New York Penn Station. At Penn Station, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) or a subway (A or C line) to get to Brooklyn. Depending on your choice, get off at the Nostrand Avenue station for the A line or the Kingston-Throop Avenues for the C line. From either station, you can catch a local bus or take a 15-20 minute walk to the museum located at 145 Brooklyn Ave.
