Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Chaco Culture National Historical Park, head southeast on the main park road toward NM-57. After about 16 miles, turn left onto NM-57 and continue for approximately 22 miles until you reach US-550. Turn right onto US-550. After another 25 miles, take the exit toward Jemez Springs. Follow the signs to Jemez Springs, and then continue on NM-4 for about 14 miles. Look for signs to Spence Hot Springs, which will be on your left side.

There is limited public transportation available in the area. You can take a bus from Albuquerque to Jemez Springs with the New Mexico Park and Ride service. Once you arrive in Jemez Springs, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Spence Hot Springs, which is approximately 2 miles from the town center.
