Subway
If you are starting at Yonkers station, take the Metro-North Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the 7 subway line at the 125th Street station, heading towards Flushing – Main Street. Ride the 7 train for about 10 stops until you reach the 36th Avenue station. Once you exit the station, walk east on 36th Avenue for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the Museum of the Moving Image located at 36-01 35th Ave, Queens, NY 11106.

Bus
From the Yonkers Transit Center, take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Mount Vernon West station. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at N Broadway and 2nd Street. Here, transfer to the MTA Q69 bus. Board the Q69 bus heading towards the 36th Avenue station. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, and get off at the 36th Avenue stop. Walk east for about 5 minutes on 36th Avenue to reach the Museum of the Moving Image.

If you are in downtown Yonkers, you can walk to the Museum of the Moving Image, although this is a longer journey. Start at Yonkers City Hall and head east on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the Hudson River waterfront and take the path along the river. After about 2 miles, you will reach the area near Astoria. From there, head north to reach 35th Ave, and finally walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the Museum of the Moving Image at 36-01 35th Ave, Queens, NY 11106.
