From Christchurch Central, head southwest on Tuam St toward Montreal St. Continue onto Brougham St and then merge onto State Highway 1 (SH1) towards Dunedin. Take the exit toward Riccarton Road and continue straight. Turn left onto Riccarton Road (State Highway 76). Continue for about 3 kilometers, then turn right onto Kahu Road. Riccarton House and Bush will be on your left at 16 Kahu Road, Fendalton, Christchurch 8041. There is no entry fee to the park.

From Christchurch Central, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro bus route 3 or 29, both of which go towards Riccarton. Get off at the stop on Riccarton Road near Kahu Road. From the bus stop, walk approximately 200 meters west along Riccarton Road, then turn right onto Kahu Road. Riccarton House and Bush will be located at 16 Kahu Road, Fendalton, Christchurch 8041. The bus fare is approximately NZD 4.50.
