Car
If you're traveling by car from Fox Glacier, head south on State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Franz Josef Glacier. After approximately 24 kilometers (about 25 minutes), look for the sign for the Franz Josef Glacier access road. Turn left onto Franz Josef Glacier Road and follow it until you reach the Franz Josef Glacier village. From the village, take the road leading to the Glacier Guides and park at the designated parking area. The starting point for the Trident Creek Falls walk is near the Glacier Guides office.

Walking
Once parked, head towards the Glacier Guides office and look for the start of the Kā Roimata o Hine Hukatere Track. The trail to Trident Creek Falls is well-marked and begins here. The walk is approximately 3-4 hours return, covering about 8 kilometers. Follow the signs that direct you to Trident Creek Falls, enjoying the lush rainforest and scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for the stunning waterfall as you approach.
