Bus
From anywhere in Wanaka, head to the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street. Take the bus service to Queenstown, which departs regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Queenstown bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk to the bus stop for the local bus service. Board the bus that goes to Frankton. After a short ride, get off at the stop closest to 'Frankton Road'. From there, walk along Tex Smith Lane for about 5 minutes, and you will find Air Milford at 3 Tex Smith Lane.

Shuttle
You can book a shuttle service from Wanaka to Queenstown. Many local companies provide this service. Schedule your shuttle to drop you off at Air Milford directly if possible. If not, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest accessible point to Frankton, then walk about 10 minutes along Tex Smith Lane to reach Air Milford.

Bike
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Wanaka. Start your journey by cycling along the scenic Lake Wanaka waterfront towards the Wanaka to Queenstown cycle trail. Follow the trail that leads towards Queenstown, and continue until you reach Frankton. Once you arrive in Frankton, navigate to Tex Smith Lane where Air Milford is located. This ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling pace.

If you're up for a long walk and the weather is nice, you can walk from Wanaka to Queenstown. Begin your walk by following the lakeside path through the scenic area. It's a long walk of about 20 kilometers, so it may take around 4-5 hours. Upon reaching Queenstown, head towards Frankton and look for Tex Smith Lane. Walk along the lane for about 10 minutes to reach Air Milford.
