From the city of Greymouth, drive southeast on State Highway 6 for about 34 kilometers until you reach the junction with State Highway 73. Turn left onto State Highway 73 and continue for approximately 57 kilometers. You'll pass stunning landscapes and the town of Springfield along the way. Follow the signs to Arthur's Pass Village. Keep in mind that there are no tolls on this route.

From Christchurch, you can take the 'Great Journeys of New Zealand' bus service that operates daily and stops at Arthur's Pass. If you're coming from Greymouth, the West Coast Shuttle offers services to Arthur's Pass, which can be booked online or by phone. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
