If you are in Washington, NC, for example, head south on US-17 and then merge onto US-264 East. Continue on US-264 for about 30 miles until you reach the exit for NC-94 South toward Swanquarter. Follow NC-94 South for approximately 15 miles. Once you reach Swanquarter, keep an eye out for Mattamuskeet Rd. Turn right onto Mattamuskeet Rd and continue for about 1 mile. The entrance to Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge will be on your left at 85 Mattamuskeet Rd, Swanquarter, NC 27885.
