Begin your journey at the center of Boone, near the Watauga County Public Library on Queen St. Walk south on Queen St. until you reach the intersection with Blowing Rock Rd (US-321). Cross the street and continue walking straight onto Blowing Rock Rd. Follow Blowing Rock Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can continue on foot onto the parkway. As you walk along the parkway, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Raven Rock Overlook. The overlook is approximately 2.5 miles from the entrance. Be prepared for a moderate uphill walk, and take your time to enjoy the stunning views along the way.

Start in downtown Boone near the Watauga County Public Library. Head south on Queen St until you reach Blowing Rock Rd (US-321). Turn right onto Blowing Rock Rd and follow it for about 1 mile. As you approach the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway, there will be a bike lane on the road. Once you enter the parkway, continue biking along the designated paths. Raven Rock Overlook is about 2.5 miles from the parkway entrance, and the ride will have some inclines, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to the overlook.
