From any location in High Country, head southeast on US-221 S toward NC-105 S. Continue on US-221 S for about 30 miles until you reach the intersection with US-64 E. Merge onto US-64 E and continue for approximately 20 miles. After that, take the exit onto US-17 S toward Washington. Continue on US-17 S, and after about 15 miles, take the exit for NC-32 N. Follow NC-32 N for about 10 miles and then turn onto Lake Shore Rd. The Somerset Place State Historic Site will be on your left at 2572 Lake Shore Rd, Creswell, NC 27928. Make sure to check for parking availability upon arrival.
