From the center of Mooresville, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Center Ave. Take the Route 77 bus towards Charlotte. Stay on the bus for about 30-35 minutes. Get off at the 'Charlotte Transit Center' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head south on S College St, then turn right onto E Trade St. Continue straight until you reach S Tryon St, then turn left. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture will be on your right at 551 S Tryon St.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mooresville. Start your ride on Main St heading south. Follow Main St until you reach the intersection with NC-150. Turn left onto NC-150 and head towards Charlotte. Follow the bike lanes and signs directing to Charlotte, which should take you around 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive in downtown Charlotte, navigate to S Tryon St, where the Harvey B. Gantt Center is located at 551 S Tryon St.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Mooresville Town Hall. Head south on Main St towards E Iredell Ave. Continue straight until you reach E Statesville Ave. Turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with NC-150. Follow the sidewalk along NC-150 towards Charlotte. This walk will take approximately 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Once you reach downtown Charlotte, look for S Tryon St. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture will be at 551 S Tryon St.
