If you're driving from the center of Sandhills, start by heading southwest on US-1 South. Continue on US-1 for about 15 miles until you reach the town of Ellerbe. Take the exit for NC-73 toward Ellerbe. Merge onto NC-73 and continue for about 1 mile. Turn right onto Church Street. The Rankin Museum of American Heritage will be on your left at 131 Church St, Ellerbe, NC 28338. There is free parking available in front of the museum.
