If you are driving, start by getting onto the nearest major highway. If you are in Harrisburg, take I-83 South towards York. Merge onto I-76 West towards Pittsburgh. Continue on I-76 until you reach Exit 47 for US-119 South toward Uniontown. Follow US-119 South for about 20 miles. As you approach Uniontown, take the Morgantown Road exit. Turn right onto Morgantown Road. The Fort Gaddis Pennsylvania Historical Marker will be on the right side shortly after.

To reach Fort Gaddis using public transportation, first check for local bus services that connect to Uniontown. You can use the South West Transit services that run from various locations in South Central Pennsylvania to Uniontown. Once you arrive at the Uniontown bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi. The historical marker is approximately 1.5 miles from the bus station. If walking, head north on W Fayette St, then turn left onto Morgantown Rd. The marker will be on your left.
