From any location in Southern Alleghenies, head towards Interstate 76 (the Pennsylvania Turnpike). If you are near a major city like Johnstown or Bedford, follow signs to I-76 East. Merge onto I-76 East and continue until you reach Exit 57 for I-279 North toward Pittsburgh. Follow I-279 North until it merges with I-579. Take the exit for I-579 North toward Downtown Pittsburgh. After crossing the Fort Duquesne Bridge, take the exit toward Commonwealth Place. Follow the signs to Point State Park, which will be on your left. The fountain is located at 601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Note that parking may incur costs, typically around $5-$10 depending on the lot.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus from various cities in Southern Alleghenies to Pittsburgh. Once you arrive at the bus station, you can transfer to the Port Authority of Allegheny County. Take the 'T' light rail from the Wood Street Station (a block away from the bus station) to the Station Square stop. From there, walk across the Smithfield Street Bridge, and you will see Point State Park ahead. The light rail ticket costs about $2.50.
