Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Baszta Sandomierska, start by navigating to Kraków, which is well-connected by major highways. From the A4 highway, take the exit toward Kraków Centrum. Follow the signs for the city center and Wawel Castle. Baszta Sandomierska is located at Wawel 5, right next to the Wawel Castle complex. There is limited parking near the castle, so be prepared to find a spot in nearby paid parking lots, which typically charge around 3-5 PLN per hour.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus or tram to the city center of Kraków. From the main bus or train station (Kraków Główny), take tram line 10 or bus line 100 toward Wawel Castle. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Wawel' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Baszta Sandomierska located at Wawel 5. Be aware that tickets for public transport cost around 4 PLN for a single journey.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Old Town, you can easily walk to Baszta Sandomierska. From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head southwest toward the Wisła River. Walk along Grodzka Street, then take a right onto Wawel Hill. The tower is located adjacent to Wawel Castle at Wawel 5. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views of the city along the way.
