Getting There

• Car

  To reach the University of Coimbra from Figueira da Foz by car, head east on N109 for approximately 35 kilometers. Follow the signs for Coimbra and merge onto A14 motorway. Continue on A14 until it merges with A1, and keep following signs for Coimbra. Once in Coimbra, take exit 6 toward Av. de Fernão de Magalhães. After exiting, continue straight to Av. de Fernão de Magalhães, which will lead you towards the university. The university is located at the address 3004-531 Coimbra. Note that parking in Coimbra can be limited, so plan accordingly.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the University of Coimbra from Figueira da Foz using public transportation, take the bus from the Figueira da Foz bus station (Terminal Rodoviário). Look for intercity buses heading to Coimbra, specifically the ones operated by Rede Expressos or Rodoviária do Tejo. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
