Walking
From the center of Guimarães, start at Praça da Oliveira. Head north on Rua de Santo António towards Largo da Oliveira. Continue straight until you reach the main street, Avenida Dom João IV. Turn left and walk along the avenue until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães). From there, take Bus 40 to Braga. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Braga, get off at the stop 'Estação de Braga'.

After getting off at 'Estação de Braga', head southeast towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue until you see the 'Museu de Arqueologia D. Diogo de Sousa' on your right, located at R. dos Bombeiros Voluntários s/n. The museum is just a short 10-minute walk from the bus station.

Alternatively, from Praça da Oliveira in Guimarães, take a taxi or an Uber to the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães). From there, take a train to Braga, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Braga station, follow the same walking directions as above to reach the museum.
