From Lisbon, head to Rossio Train Station (Estação de Rossio), which is easily accessible via the Lisbon Metro (Green Line to Rossio station). Once at Rossio, purchase a ticket to Sintra. The train ride takes about 40 minutes and offers beautiful views of the countryside. Upon arrival at Sintra Train Station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the town center.

After exiting the Sintra Train Station, you can take the Scotturb bus number 434 towards 'Cabo da Roca' or 'Palácio da Pena'. Get off at the 'Palácio da Pena' stop. This bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. From the bus stop, walk along the path towards the Palace, and you will soon see signs directing you to the Chalet of the Countess of Edla.

If you prefer to walk from the Sintra Train Station, it's about a 30-minute walk to the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Head southwest on Av. Dr. Alfredo da Costa, then turn left onto R. da Ferraria. Continue straight until you reach Estrada da Pena, where you will see signs for the Chalet. The path to the Chalet is scenic and surrounded by nature.
