Getting There

  • Train

    If you are in central Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can take the Green Line (Metro) to Cais do Sodré. Once at Cais do Sodré, purchase a ticket to Cascais. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Cascais station, exit the station and turn right onto Avenida 25 de Abril. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront, then turn left and walk along the promenade. You will see the sculpture of Dom Carlos I in the small park along the waterfront.

  • Bus

    From the Marques de Pombal area, you can take the bus number 403 towards Cascais. The bus will take about 40 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Cascais stop. Once you get off, walk straight towards the waterfront, and you will find Dom Carlos I's sculpture in the park by the sea.

  • Tram

    Take the historic Tram 28 from Martim Moniz towards Campo de Ourique. Get off at the last stop, which is near the Cais do Sodré.
