From the central area of Caguas, head to the nearest bus stop along Calle de la Cruz. Look for the bus marked 'Ciales' as it will take you towards your destination. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the last stop in Ciales, disembark and ask a local for directions to 'Puente Mata de Plátanos.' It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, heading northwest on PR-6685.

If you're already in the vicinity of Caguas, you can walk to 'Puente Mata de Plátanos.' Start at Plaza de Caguas and walk along Calle de la Cruz towards PR-1. Turn right onto PR-1 and continue until you reach the intersection with PR-6685. Turn left onto PR-6685 and continue walking straight for about 3.5 kilometers. You will see the bridge on your right-hand side. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk is about an hour.
