If you are traveling by car, start in Ponce by heading towards Route 2 (Carretera 2). Follow the signs for Route 2 East and merge onto Route 2. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for Route 123 towards Juana Díaz. Continue on Route 123 for about 4 km until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and follow it for approximately 15 km until you reach the town of Guayanilla. Look for signs indicating the ferry terminal for Caja de Muertos, which is located at the end of Route 1. Note that parking is available at the ferry terminal, but there may be a fee. The ferry ride itself, which takes about 30 minutes, typically costs around $10 per person round trip.
