If you're driving from downtown Newport, head southwest on America's Cup Avenue towards Long Wharf. Continue straight onto Thames Street (Route 238) and follow the signs for the Newport Bridge. Cross the Newport Bridge and pay the toll (approximately $4.00 for cars). Once you cross the bridge, continue on Route 138 East until you reach the exit for Jamestown. Take Route 1A South towards Beavertail State Park. The Bells / The Reef is located offshore, so park at the Beavertail State Park parking lot (there is a parking fee of about $10.00 for non-residents). From there, you can take a kayak or boat rental from a nearby facility to reach The Bells / The Reef.
