Car
If you're driving from the center of Nizke Tatry National Park, take the main road (E77) towards the town of Banská Bystrica. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for the village of Ochtiná. Follow the signs for Ochtinská Aragonite Cave, which is located just a few kilometers from the village center. There is a parking area near the cave entrance, and parking is usually free.

Public Transportation
To reach Ochtinská Aragonite Cave via public transport, take a bus from the nearest larger town, such as Liptovský Mikuláš. Look for a bus heading towards the village of Ochtiná. The journey may take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ochtiná bus stop, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the cave. Follow the signs directing you toward the cave, and enjoy the scenic walk through the countryside.

If you're already in Ochtiná, walking to the Ochtinská Aragonite Cave is quite straightforward. From the village center, head south on the main road towards the cave. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 25 minutes. Just keep an eye out for signs pointing to the cave along the way.
