Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Bled, make your way to the Bled Jezero bus station. You can walk there from the center of Bled; it’s approximately a 15-minute walk. Once at the bus station, take a bus towards Bovec. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Upon arrival in Bovec, exit the bus and look for local signs directing you to 'Outdoor museum Ravelnik,' which is located at Ravni Laz. It is about a 25-minute walk from the Bovec bus station to the museum. You’ll head northwest on the main road (H4), and then take a left onto the path that leads you to the museum. Follow the signs for Ravelnik, and you will arrive at the museum.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bled and prefer to enjoy the scenic route, you can start your hike towards Outdoor museum Ravelnik. Begin at the Bled Castle, and follow the marked hiking trails that lead towards Bovec. This route can take several hours, so ensure you have enough time and provisions for the journey. The trail will take you through beautiful landscapes and you will eventually connect with the road leading to Ravni Laz. Keep an eye out for directional signs that will guide you to the museum.

• Bicycle Rental

  Consider renting a bicycle in Bled. Many rental shops are available in the city center. Once you have your bike, take the cycling path leading towards the northeast, following the signs for Bovec. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and will take about 1.5 hours. As you reach Bovec, look for signs directing you to Ravni Laz. Biking is a great way to experience the scenic vistas of the region on your way to the Outdoor museum Ravelnik.
