Getting There

  • Car

    From Gorizia, drive southeast on the A1 highway towards Nova Gorica. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 kilometers and take the exit toward Tolmin/Čezsoča. After exiting, follow the signs for Čezsoča. You will drive through the village and then take a left turn towards the parking area for Plaža Soča. The parking is free, and from there, it’s a short walk to the beach.

    Begin your journey at the Gorizia train station. Take a train to Nova Gorica (around 10 minutes). From Nova Gorica, you can take a regional bus toward Tolmin. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may not run frequently. Once at Tolmin, you can take another local bus to Čezsoča, or if you prefer, it's about a 30-minute walk. Upon arrival in Čezsoča, follow the signs to Plaža Soča, which is located near the river.
