Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach the Church of St. James located at Levstikov trg 2, 1000 Ljubljana. From any point in Styria, take the A1 motorway towards Ljubljana. Once you arrive in Ljubljana, follow signs for 'City Center' (Center) and take the exit towards 'Trg Republike'. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, then take the first exit onto Slovenska cesta. Continue on this road for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with the street 'Zavetiška', take a left turn. Continue straight until you reach Levstikov trg. There is limited parking available near the church, which may incur a fee depending on the area.

  To reach the Church of St. James using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest train station in Styria (e.g., Maribor or Celje). From there, take a train to Ljubljana. Trains run frequently, and the journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana train station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located right next to it. From there, take bus number 9 (or any bus that goes towards the city center). Disembark at the 'Trg Republike' stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to Levstikov trg. Follow Slovenska cesta until you reach the intersection with Zavetiška street, then turn left and continue until you arrive at the church.
