Car
If you are driving from the Battlefields area, head southwest on the N3 highway towards Johannesburg. Continue for about 120 km. Take the exit toward M2 W and merge onto the M2 highway. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward M1 S and merge onto the M1 highway. Continue for about 5 km, then take the exit for Eloff Street. Keep following the signs for Eloff Street until you reach the intersection with Erlswold Way. Turn right onto Erlswold Way, and the South African National Museum of Military History will be on your right. There is parking available at the museum, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

From there, take the Greyhound or Intercape bus service towards Johannesburg. Upon arriving at Johannesburg's Park Station, transfer to the Gautrain service towards Sandton. Get off at the Parktown station. From Parktown, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service, which will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the museum at 22 Erlswold Way.
