Walking from Cape Town City Centre
Start at the Cape Town City Hall on Darling Street. Head south on Darling Street towards the intersection with St. George's Mall. Walk towards the Company's Garden and continue to the eastern side of the garden. Exit onto Wale Street and turn right. Walk until you reach Buitengracht Street. Turn left and continue until Buitengracht becomes Somerset Road. Continue straight on Somerset Road until you reach the intersection with High Level Road. Turn left onto High Level Road and follow it as it curves along the mountainside. Continue straight until you see signs for Clifton beaches. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Clifton 1st Beach.
