Getting There

  • Car

    From Table Mountain National Park, head southeast towards the M3 highway. Merge onto the M3 and continue for about 15 kilometers. Take the exit toward M5/N2 from M3. Merge onto the M5 and continue for about 10 kilometers. Take the exit toward N2 and merge onto the N2 highway. After approximately 8 kilometers, take the exit marked 'Khayelitsha' and follow the signs towards Khayelitsha. Continue on the N2 until you reach the Mew Way interchange. Follow the signs to Khayelitsha and turn onto Mew Way Road (R102). Drive for about 5 kilometers, then turn left onto Spine Road. Continue straight, and turn right onto Village 1 South. Lookout Hill will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious and make sure to lock your vehicle.

    From Table Mountain National Park, you can take a MyCiTi bus to the Civic Centre station in Cape Town. From there, switch to a Metrorail train heading towards Khayelitsha. Purchase a ticket to Khayelitsha station (approximately R20). Once you arrive at Khayelitsha station, you can take a local taxi (minibus) heading to Village 1 South or walk (about 2 kilometers) to Lookout Hill.
